Forum members are currently collaborating on an exciting new publication: the World Cities Culture Finance Report. It will be the first comparative analysis of culture financing in world cities, revealing the types of investments into culture made around the globe. It will compare funding models across city members and identify culture financing trends specific to world cities.
The report will include indicators on direct public funding for culture at both national and city level. It will also attempt to collect indicators on indirect public budgets for culture and data on private funding for culture, which are likely to be significant for many city members.
Forum members will discuss the initial results of the research at the November Summit in London. The final report is planned for publication in April 2017.
