Launched by Bogota’s Secretary of Culture, Recreation and Sports
01.09.2014

The Spanish version of the World Cities Culture Report was launched by Bogotá’s Secretary of Culture, Recreation and Sports.

The launch event was attended by Justine Simons, Head of Culture at the Mayor of London’s Office and Chair of the World Cities Culture Forum; Richard Naylor, Director of Research at BOP Consulting, and Matthieu Prin, Project Manager of the World Cities Culture Forum.

The public launch event was a chance for Justine Simons and Clarisa Ruiz Correal, Secretary of Culture, Leisure and Sport Department, City of Bogotá, to exchange best practices on the role of culture in their cities’ life and to discuss common cultural policy challenges.

The event was also an opportunity for Richard Naylor and Matthieu Prin to give a presentation on the defining role of culture in world cities, and to take part in a workshop on the development of cultural indicators for Bogotá.
