About the World Cities Culture Forum

From Austin to Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong to Helsinki, São Paolo to Sydney, Vienna to Vancouver, we run a global network of 40+ cities using culture to transform lives, spark ideas and achieve social change. We support and challenge city leaders to design innovative cultural policies to create more prosperous and sustainable cities.

Founded by the Mayor of London in 2012 as a closed network, World Cities Culture Forum has recently been incorporated as an independent not-for-profit organisation. We have a decade’s worth of learning to share and an active network of leaders who are shaping the future of their cities with culture.
We are fostering a culture where new ideas are celebrated, and everyone has a say in how the organisation is run. At the core of our organisation is the value of collaboration.

This means it will be a varied role – helping arrange events, diary management, taking notes at meetings. As we are a young organisation with the feel of a start-up, you will be involved in shaping how we operate.

This role is for you if you want to learn about how charities are run and about cultural activities worldwide. We particularly welcome applications from people from marginalised groups, especially those who have felt excluded from the cultural/charity sectors.

The successful candidate must have permission to work in the UK by the start of their employment. We value flexibility and are open to part time working and other working patterns.
